  • Review claim, payer, and determination data for accuracy and completeness, resolving discrepancies before submission
  • Facilitate payer escalations and drive cash collections on prior disputes through direct phone outreach, written and faxed follow-up, and consistent tracking of payment status through resolution
  • Develop standard operating procedures, training materials, and workflow documentation for escalation and collection activity, including work performed by offshore resources
  • Support vendor management by locating and organizing documentation, coordinating contract and information requests, tracking deliverables, and monitoring vendor performance against expectations
  • Develop and maintain proactive reporting and metrics for the IDR program, surfacing trends in eligibility, determinations, payer behavior, and recovery
  • Translate and articulate analytical results with common sense approach to non-technical business audience including executive management and external partners
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer guidelines, state/federal regulations, and industry standards to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with all requirements throughout program
  • Collaborate and communicate with payers during the dispute process to reach a mutually beneficial resolution where possible and support continually improving payer relations
  • Ability to work independently to resolve data integrity and integration issues with various team members across various departments
  • Identify opportunities to improve process, documentation, and tooling as the program matures, and take ownership of assigned improvement projects
  • Other duties as assigned
