Job Description

We're hiring a Lead Product Manager to own the merchant experience on Von Halsky – InPost's marketplace – and to lead the small PM team building it.

Merchants are the supply side of the marketplace. You'll be responsible for creating the easiest way for them to list their offers, set pricing and fulfill orders. Your job is to give that side of the marketplace one coherent product direction and raise the standard of how the team gets there.

The products you own: merchant onboarding and verification, catalog and listing, pricing and offer mechanics, order and fulfillment flows, payouts and settlement, seller performance tooling. You own the vision, the KPIs and the roadmap across those areas.

The team: 3–5 Product Managers. You set the bar for how they do discovery, how they define success before they build, and how fast they get something in front of merchants. This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll be in the data, in merchant conversations, and in the PRDs – writing and editing them yourself.

What you'll do:

  • Own the merchant-side product vision, KPIs and roadmap, and make sure they add up to something the business unit actually needs.
  • Lead a team of 3–5 PMs – priorities, feedback, development, performance.
  • Create a culture of product craft: real discovery, a hypothesis before a spec, a defined metric before a launch, and a written answer afterwards on whether it worked.
  • Get the team shipping in weeks, not quarters. Sequence work so merchants see something improve every few weeks.
  • Partner directly with Engineering Managers on architecture, capacity and sequencing.
  • Make AI a default part of how your team works – discovery, analysis, prototyping – and be able to point at what got faster or better because of it.
  • Find AI opportunities inside the merchant product itself and get them tested.
  • Be the escalation point when something cross-functional gets stuck, and unstick it.
  • Represent the merchant product credibly to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years in product management, with real ownership of a product area's outcomes.
  • 2+ years leading and developing Product Managers – formally, or as the person a team of PMs actually followed.
  • Marketplace, e-commerce or B2B/merchant-facing product experience. You have a working model of two-sided dynamics.
  • A track record of shipping. You can walk through something you launched, the metric it moved, and something you got wrong.
  • Fluency with product analytics.
  • Discovery you can describe in specifics: how you chose who to talk to, what you learned, and what you killed because of it.
  • Practical AI fluency (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or similar) in your own work, plus the judgment to check what the model gave you before acting on it.
  • Ability to hold a position with senior stakeholders when the evidence supports it and to change it when the evidence doesn't.
  • Polish and English, fluent.

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to the enterprise systems behind billing, settlement, ERP and finance.
  • Experience where product sat close to commercial operations.

On level
This is posted as a Lead Product Manager role. If you're a strong Senior PM ready for your first people-leadership step, we're open to bringing you in as Associate Lead Product Manager and growing the scope with you. Say so in your application rather than self-rejecting.
