Position Overview

Parexel is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Laboratory Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic Laboratory Logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the logistics aspects of clinical trial projects, ensuring that supplies are delivered to the right locations at the right time and under the right conditions. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards, comply with ICH-GxP regulations, and support the successful execution of clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities

Results Orientation & Project Execution

  • Oversee the logistics aspect of designated projects to ensure timely and compliant delivery of supplies
  • Provide support for development of project-specific logistics strategies
  • Execute clinical logistics procedures for clinical trials, including kit design and lab material sourcing
  • Manage and oversee lab kit manufacturing and ensure proper distribution of study documents and materials
  • Perform day-to-day communication with clinical teams, sites, and vendors
  • Participate in regular study team meetings as required
  • Track and report logistics study metrics to the project team
  • Support financial control by tracking, checking, and compiling invoices
  • Supervise transportation, import, and export of biological samples in cooperation with investigators and laboratory partners
  • Manage collection and analysis of laboratory samples for clinical trials
  • Perform laboratory data management and reporting of lab results to sites
  • Support central filing and final archiving activities in accordance with regulatory requirements

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Understanding of the regulatory framework of clinical trial supplies and ICH-GxP guidelines
  • Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization abilities
  • Result-oriented, confident, self-motivated, and high-energy approach to work
  • Credible team player with strong facilitation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in local language a plus
  • Strong negotiation skills with ability to influence and gain collaboration from key stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Strong client focus and ability to build rapport with culturally diverse groups at multiple levels
  • Flexibility and capability to manage change and ambiguity
  • Strong analytical capabilities combined with creative problem-solving skills and sense of urgency

Knowledge & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in clinical logistics or related field within the biopharmaceutical industry or general logistics
  • Proven multinational work experience

Education & Qualifications

  • Vocational or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in biology, pharmacy, health-related discipline, international trade, logistics, or related field
  • Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal degree requirements
