Job description

HR & Payroll (Staffing/EOR) | Remote (Switzerland) | Full-time or 50% Part-time

About the company
Our client is a fast-growing global HR and payroll platform that helps businesses hire and manage employees compliantly across 180+ regions. Their integrated suite covers Employer of Record services, global payroll, contractor management, benefits, and compliance - powering a borderless economy for companies of every size.

The Swiss team is small and lean, and this role is central to how the company operates its Switzerland legal entity while continuing to expand its European footprint.

Role Mission
Support and strengthen the company's Swiss operations, ensuring smooth HR administration, payroll coordination, and compliance across all local employee engagements. Reporting to the Head of Legal and the COO, you'll act as a trusted partner to employees, external payroll providers, and regulatory bodies - while helping build scalable HR processes in a fast-growing international business.

This role combines hands-on HR operations with responsibility for Swiss labour leasing compliance, including formally acting as the Responsible Person for the company's Swiss entity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth and compliant introduction for new hires.

  • Prepare and maintain HR documentation: employment contracts, job descriptions, personnel records.

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employee HR and payroll queries.

  • Coordinate monthly payroll inputs with external Swiss payroll providers (timesheets, leave, allowances, payroll data).

  • Serve as the Responsible Person for the Swiss entity, ensuring compliance with Swiss labour leasing regulations and employment legislation.

  • Oversee compliant employee assignments, salary accuracy, social security contributions, and staffing industry GAV requirements.

  • Maintain compliance documentation and support regulatory audits and inspections.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for SECO and cantonal authorities on labour leasing and employment compliance matters.

  • Support process improvements and HR operational best practices.

  • Collaborate with global teams to keep Swiss employee engagements compliant and aligned with company standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in labour leasing, staffing operations, HR, recruitment, or a related field with strong operational involvement.

  • Strong knowledge of Swiss labour leasing regulations, Swiss employment law, and staffing industry GAV requirements.

  • Proven ability to manage staffing or HR operations independently, with high compliance and accuracy.

  • Experience engaging with Swiss regulatory authorities (audits, inspections, compliance communications).

  • Familiarity with payroll processes and coordinating payroll administration in a regulated environment.

  • Strong organisational and documentation skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills, able to build trust across HR matters.

  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.

Nice to Have

  • Relevant qualifications in HR, Economics, Psychology, or a related discipline.

  • German or French language skills to support communication with employees, payroll providers, and authorities.

  • Experience within staffing, labour leasing, EOR, or other highly regulated employment environments.

  • Experience supporting process improvements while scaling HR operations internationally.

We're looking for someone who:

  • takes ownership of compliance and payroll processes;

  • works independently and proactively;

  • is comfortable being the named point of contact for authorities;

  • enjoys building and improving processes rather than just running them;

  • is a strong culture fit - energetic, hands-on, and not afraid to challenge the status quo.

What We Offer

  • Fully remote role, based anywhere in Switzerland (full-time or 50% part-time).

  • Opportunity to shape HR and payroll processes in a fast-growing international company.

  • Health insurance contribution.

  • Share incentive plan.

  • Generous PTO plus 4 weeks of "work from anywhere" per year.

  • Continuous learning support (courses, mentorship).

  • International, ambitious team environment.

If you're passionate about compliance, payroll operations, and building reliable HR processes in a fast-moving global business, we'd love to hear from you.
