📝 Work Description

We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Testers to join our testing team. In this paid role, you will support the development of our aircraft, scenery, and related products by identifying issues and helping ensure every release meets our quality standards.

You’ll work closely with developers and fellow testers to assess functionality, performance, and the overall user experience in Microsoft Flight Simulator and similar platforms.

  • Test development builds across a variety of products, following assigned test plans and exploring potential issues independently.
  • Identify, document, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, videos, and other supporting information.
  • Verify fixes and carry out regression testing to ensure updates do not introduce new issues.
  • Assess product functionality, visual quality, performance, and usability across different scenarios.
  • Communicate findings clearly and work with developers to investigate and resolve reported issues.
  • Manage assigned testing tasks efficiently and meet deadlines throughout development and release periods.
  • Follow internal testing workflows, reporting standards, and confidentiality requirements.

  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Flight Simulator and experience using aircraft and scenery add-ons.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
  • Ability to describe issues clearly and accurately in written English.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to isolate issues and reproduce them consistently.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately while managing varying workloads and deadlines.
  • Flexibility to support testing schedules and collaborate with a global team across different time zones.
  • Access to a PC capable of running the relevant simulator and products reliably.

💪 Preferred Qualifications & Traits

  • Previous experience in software testing, quality assurance, or structured beta testing.
  • Familiarity with bug-tracking tools and writing detailed issue reports.
  • An interest in aviation, flight simulation, or gaming.
  • Experience testing a variety of simulator products, including aircraft systems and airport scenery.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to investigate unexpected behaviour.
  • Confidence providing constructive feedback and discussing findings with the team.

🛠️ Software Proficiency

  • Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024; familiarity with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is beneficial.
  • Screenshot and screen-recording tools for capturing evidence.
  • Familiarity with collaboration platforms and bug-tracking tools.
