Remote | Spanish STEM Expert (PhD) — $45–$50/hour

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for a PhD-level scientist who is bilingual in Spanish and English and can apply deep scientific expertise to advanced model evaluation.

This role focuses on creating and reviewing specialised technical content in Spanish, with emphasis on scientific accuracy, responsible handling of sensitive material, and clear expert judgment.

Key Responsibilities

• Write expert-level prompts in Spanish across specialised scientific topics.
• Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and appropriate handling of sensitive content.
• Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations and document evaluation reasoning.

Ideal Profile

• PhD in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field, ongoing or completed.
• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish, plus business-level written English.
• Depth sufficient to work across chemical, biological, or radiological and nuclear subject areas.
• Strong familiarity with modern laboratory and/or computational techniques.
• Sound judgment around scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information.

• Part-time consulting engagement.
• Fully remote.
• Candidates based in Spain or the wider Western Europe region are preferred, but applicants elsewhere may be considered.
• Independent-contractor engagement.
