Remote | Clinical Survey Expert (Therapeutic Areas) — Up to $190/hour

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for an experienced therapeutic-area or clinical subject-matter expert to review physician and patient research surveys.

The role focuses on assessing whether survey questions, clinical terminology, treatment pathways, therapies, scenarios, and response options accurately reflect real-world clinical practice and patient experience. An MD is not required.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Therapeutic Review

• Review physician and patient surveys for clinical and therapeutic-area accuracy.
• Evaluate disease terminology, treatment pathways, therapies, clinical scenarios, and response options.
• Identify inaccurate, outdated, ambiguous, or missing clinical considerations.
• Ensure questions appropriately reflect physician decision-making and patient experience.

Survey Quality & Recommendations

• Collaborate with survey-methodology specialists or, where qualified, independently assess both clinical content and survey design.
• Provide clear, evidence-based recommendations for improvements.
• Support research across oncology/urologic oncology, gastroenterology/IBD, neurology, pulmonology/respiratory medicine, and related therapeutic areas.

Ideal Profile

• 3+ years of professional experience within a relevant therapeutic or clinical area.
• Deep understanding of disease pathways, treatment landscapes, and real-world clinical decision-making.
• Background in medical affairs, clinical research, medical writing, life-sciences consulting, pharmaceutical research, healthcare insights, market research, scientific communications, or clinical practice.
• Ability to identify clinically inaccurate or incomplete survey questions.
• Experience with physician or patient market research is preferred but not required.

Engagement Details

• Part-time, hourly consulting engagement.
• Fully remote.
• Independent-contractor engagement.
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded depending on business requirements and performance.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this opportunity.
