Type: Hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to be on site 50% of the month in Little Island, Cork and 50% working remotely.

The Clinical Central Services & Innovation (CCSI) organization helps advance awareness of and access to clinical research while supporting trial execution globally across all phases of development. The team partners across functions within Clinical Design, Delivery and Analytics and Product Research and Development to support innovative approaches that improve accessibility, reduce burden, and help accelerate clinical trials.

Within this area, the Pre-Assessed Referrals (PAR) team supports community-based approaches that increase awareness of clinical research opportunities and improve access for potential participants. This work helps connect people in local communities with clinical research through education, screening support, and innovative delivery models.

The Intern for Pre-Assessed Referrals will support the team with coordination, documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement activities related to community-based clinical trial support. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in clinical operations, project support, and cross-functional collaboration within a global organization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support the team in maintaining trackers, documents, and project materials related to PAR activities
  • Assist with coordination of operational activities across internal teams and external partners
  • Help prepare materials for updates, reporting, and team reviews
  • Contribute to documentation of processes, workflows, and team resources
  • Support meeting preparation, note capture, and follow-up on action items
  • Assist with data collection and organization to support reporting, metrics, and dashboards
  • Contribute to projects focused on process improvement, training materials, job aids, and team resources
  • Learn how community-based delivery approaches support clinical trial accessibility and participant engagement
