Duration: 6 months  

Salary: €30,500   

Location: Lilly GBS, Little Island Cork   

Type: Hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to be on site 50% of the month in Little Island, Cork and 50% working remotely.    

Course Eligibility: BSc in IT, Computer Software, BIS or similar

Lilly’s European Medical Information team is a dynamic and innovative department that supports customers with their questions about Lilly medicines across 16 different countries. Our ambition is to translate complex science into actionable, intuitive information for virtual communications, enabling patients and healthcare professionals to make informed and balanced treatment decisions.  

Responsibilities:  

The role of a Medical Information IT student is supporting different initiatives leaded by the Capabilities team; among others: 

• Investigate AI solutions that contributes to speed up digitalization and automation. 

• Development and/or customise project management solution. 

• Enhancement of digital channels. 

• Update and enhance Intranet site. 

• Report generation, websites monitoring, PowerPoint presentations. 

Requirements: 

• Currently enrolled in 3rd level education and ready to pursue student placement as part of an undergraduate program. 

• Good working knowledge of a wide variety of IT systems and software programs. 

• Ability to proactively, effectively analyses & resolve problems. 

• Ability to effectively prioritize and complete key tasks and deliverables in a dynamic, evolving environment. 

• Communicate effectively.
