Job Description:

Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for a Senior Expert Technical Designer to join the development of a new IP.

 Feed your creativity while collaborating with our team of highly-skilled developers to build something innovative, exhilarating, and expansively entertaining.

 As a member of the Design department, you’ll cover creation of variety of systems. You will also be responsible for working on prototype mission, supporting gameplay and art team from early conception to final execution.

 Also, you’ll contribute to take the studio and our game from great to even better—with a focus on inclusivity, mutual respect (for ourselves and our players), thoughtfulness, empathy, integrity, and collaboration.The role will ultimately be based in Warsaw, Poland, so the successful candidate needs to be willing to relocate once immigration processes have been completed.

 You’ll help us by…
  • Partner with the Gameplay Director and Content Director to set the overall vision and direction for gameplay and content designs.
  • Take ownership of creating technical design rules and principles for the whole game.
  • Work together with other teams on technical solutions, pipelines and tools supporting gameplay and content design implementation.
  • Take ownership of technical design in a gameplay prototype – from ideation to final quality implementation.
  • Support hires, training and mentoring of technical designers.
  • Analyze, pitch, prototype, and develop technical design features, systems and tools for an unannounced AAA project.
  • Create one-page pitches, tools & pipelines briefs, system outlines, and whatever other communication tools are vital for succinctly and effectively communicating technical design.
  • Leverage technical expertise to implement systems in proprietary tools.
  • Collaborate with multiple fields, ensuring partners are involved and informed throughout development.
  • Provide regular active feedback across all of your features, and across the game as a whole.
  • Remain current on industry trends including new game genres, new game design techniques, and trending audio-visual excellence.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $119,280.00 - $220,700.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
