Job description

This is a remote position.


We are looking for a Streetworks Coordinator to support the planning, scheduling, and coordination of operational works. The role focuses on accurate permit management, maintaining records and systems, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring works progress efficiently and in compliance with relevant requirements.

Your Duties

  • Receive, process, and raise permit requests accurately in the relevant systems.
  • Monitor permit SLAs and statuses, identify potential delays or risks, and escalate issues when required.
  • Process permit modifications, refusals, and cancellations, ensuring all relevant information and reason codes are recorded.
  • Coordinate permit schedules with planners, field teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Send daily reports covering granted permits, start/stop information, PMRs, and registration reminders.
  • Accept and log TLOS permit requests and maintain appropriate follow-up records.
  • Follow up on outstanding or un-actioned permits to ensure timely completion.
  • Support weekly planning reviews and ensure upcoming permits are scheduled correctly.
  • Maintain accurate records, mailbox archives, and system information for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Track registration deadlines and remind relevant teams of required confirmations.
  • Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports to support operational decision-making.
  • Communicate with Local Authorities and internal stakeholders regarding permit changes and agreements.
  • Keep permit requestors and relevant stakeholders updated throughout the process.
  • Escalate unresolved issues and potential operational risks in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all relevant information and stakeholder communications are accurately recorded in the appropriate systems.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required.

Requirements


  • 1–2 years of experience in an administrative, coordination, scheduling, operations, or similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes accurately.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests, deadlines, and priorities effectively.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with different teams.
  • Proactive approach to monitoring deadlines, identifying risks, and escalating issues.
  • Experience with record-keeping, reporting, tracking, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Strong general IT skills and ability to learn and work with operational systems.
  • Comfortable working with structured templates, processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working in a team environment and supporting operational objectives.
