Role Overview:  

The Porting Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of number porting, port-outs, number allocations, and DID management activities across Access4’s markets. This role is the first point of contact for Access4’s partners, carriers, and internal stakeholders for all porting-related activities and plays a vital role in delivering a positive service activation experience.

Operating within a fast-paced and compliance-driven environment, the Porting Coordinator ensures that all requests are handled in alignment with SLAs, ISO standards, and internal procedures. The role also contributes to administrative updates, project support, and continuous improvement of porting operations.

What You’ll Be Working On:

Porting Operations

  • Action local number port-ins and port-outs across Australia, New Zealand, and other international jurisdictions as required

  • Manage porting exceptions and respond to partner queries in real time via SASBOSS, Service Cloud, email, and phone

  • Provide timely updates to carriers and Access4 partners during the porting lifecycle

  • Assist in identifying the best-fit porting paths and flag potential risks to avoid delays or rejections Support porting escalations, including fault handling and coordination with internal and external teams

Number Management

  • Manage DID inventory within SASBOSS to maintain cost-effective and accurate allocation.

  • Process new DID number requests and manual number provisioning through platforms such as or Devoli, or Symbio.

  • Complete number return and cancellation requests promptly and accurately.

  • Ensure carrier number inventory aligns with Access4’s business strategy and allocation guidelines.

Customer Support & Communication

  • Provide outstanding service to partners by responding to queries clearly and professionally.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records within SASBOSS and Service Cloud for each interaction.

  • Work collaboratively with the Porting Team Lead to support resolution of escalations and ensure exceptional partner outcomes.

Administrative & Project Support

  • Update and maintain internal documentation related to porting activities and process improvements.

  • Assist in data gathering, scheduling, and internal stakeholder communication for porting projects.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to scope.

  • Participate in retrospective sessions and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
