Job description

This is a remote position.

Superlanet is seeking a Senior Workday Integration Engineer for our healthcare client in Texas. This is a direct-hire, primarily remote position with travel required for key project milestones and go-live events.

The Senior Workday Integration Engineer will serve as a technical lead and subject matter expert responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting integrations across a new Workday HCM and Payroll environment and connected enterprise systems. This is a critical implementation hire who will partner with the existing integration engineer and implementation partner while taking ownership of Workday integrations and helping establish a scalable, sustainable long-term integration environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support complex Workday HCM and Payroll integrations.
  • Build and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, XML, REST/SOAP APIs, and file-based integration methods.
  • Lead integrations between Workday and benefits, payroll, tax, timekeeping, scheduling, recruiting, and other third-party platforms.
  • Own integrations throughout the full lifecycle, including design, development, testing, go-live, stabilization, and production support.
  • Troubleshoot complex integration issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive timely resolution.
  • Partner with internal technical teams, functional stakeholders, vendors, and the Workday implementation partner.
  • Establish integration standards, documentation, monitoring, and support processes for the long-term Workday environment.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance around integration architecture, scalability, security, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of Workday integration and/or ERP integration experience, including ownership of complex implementations.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Workday Studio, EIB, XML, APIs, and file-based integrations.
  • Experience designing and supporting REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Workday HCM and/or Payroll integration experience required.
  • Strong preference for experience with Benefits and Payroll integrations.
  • Experience integrating Workday with benefits, tax, timekeeping, scheduling, recruiting, or other third-party systems.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting integrations through implementation, testing, go-live, stabilization, and production support.
  • Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday training, current/prior certification, or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
  • Healthcare or higher education experience.
  • Experience with Azure API Management, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar integration platforms.
  • Epic and/or HL7 integration exposure.
  • PMP or ITIL certification.


Benefits

Salary based on qualifications and experience $120,000 - $145,000 +
