Senior Back End Engineer (Node.js/TypeScript)

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Back End Engineer (Node.js/TypeScript) to join our team full-time in the Slovakia.

About the role:

As a Senior Back End Engineer (Node.js/TypeScript), become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of end-to-end development of key features in identity and access management
• Work with cutting-edge AI to enhance development and security workflows
• Drive technical excellence and help shape the architecture of our platform
• Collaborate with a small but strong team of 4 developers and a team lead, contributing your expertise and leadership to raise the technical bar
• Optimize and scale authentication and authorization systems with OAuth, JWT, SAML, WebAuthn, and more
• Build and optimize services using NestJS (Node.js), TypeScript, and AWS
• Take ownership of complex challenges, working both independently and within the team

Requirements:

• A highly skilled Backend Developer with 6+ years of experience, specializing in NestJS, Node.js
• Experience working in high-scale production environments - Must 
• Analytic thinking - Independent people who can lead the development of new features - Must
• Deeply passionate about writing clean, efficient, and scalable code leveraging AI tools
• A problem solver who loves working with AI and using it to boost productivity
• Experienced in designing and implementing complex distributed systems
• Comfortably leading technical decisions and mentoring the team
• Hands-on with authentication, security, and identity management (SSO etc.) - Great Advantage
• Experience with Kafka, Redis, MySQL, OAuth, JWT, AWS is a strong advantage, and familiarity with MongoDB is a plus
• Typescript experience
• 10% FE (React)

The salary starts from 3400 Euro gross. The final salary depends on the previous experience and professional knowledge of the candidate.
