Job Description:

Join Job Duck as a Personal Injury Case Handling Specialist supporting a fast-paced personal injury practice where your legal expertise and client-centered approach will make a meaningful impact. In this role, you will play a key part in guiding cases from intake through resolution, ensuring clients feel supported, informed, and confident throughout their legal journey. You will collaborate closely with legal teams, manage critical documentation, and proactively follow up on case progress while maintaining high attention to detail. • Monthly Compensation Range: From 1,220 to 1,320 USD

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Handle medical reductions and coordinate with medical providers and lienholders
  • Manage personal injury cases from intake through resolution
  • Monitor case deadlines, treatment progress, and follow-up activities
  • Prepare and customize spoliation letters based on case-specific needs
  • Draft legal documents and case-related correspondence
  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, and text, providing case updates and guidance
  • Maintain communication with insurance adjusters and other stakeholders
  • Request and review medical records, bills, police reports, and insurance documentation
  • Verify health insurance coverage and identify applicable benefits
  • Draft subrogation letters and manage subrogation-related matters
  • Take ownership of assigned cases and work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Identify and resolve case issues proactively to ensure timely progression
  • Collaborate with attorneys and team members to support pre-litigation and litigation matters
  • Maintain accurate case files, records, and case notes
  • Deliver exceptional client service and maintain positive client relationships
  • Support settlement and case resolution efforts by ensuring all documentation is complete
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience working as a case manager
• Experience with U.S. personal injury law is a MUST
• A Bachelor's Degree in Law is REQUIRED
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
• Strong legal knowledge of personal injury processes
Strong subrogation experience, including drafting, preparing, and managing subrogation letters
Experience handling medical reductions and negotiating with medical providers when appropriate
• Proven ability to independently manage case management responsibilities from intake through resolution
Experience preparing and managing spoliation letters, with the ability to customize each letter based on the specific facts and circumstances of a case
• High level of attention to detail, particularly when reviewing case documentation, records, and correspondence
• Client-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to follow up consistently and ensure case progression
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
• Confidence working under pressure and effectively prioritizing competing responsibilities

• Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and processes
• Strong work ethic, sound judgment, and commitment to case completion
• Ability to build rapport and maintain positive client relationships

• Location and timezone: Remote, Eastern Standard Time (EST)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday
• Expected call volume: Moderate (6-15 calls per day)
• Software and Tools Required:
- CRM: FileVine (REQUIRED)

Work Shift:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM [EST][EDT] (United States of America)
