Job description

Company Description

Software Mind develops solutions that make an impact for companies around the globe. Tech giants & unicorns, transformative projects, emerging technologies and limitless opportunities – these are a few words that describe an average day for us. Building cross-functional engineering teams that take ownership and crave more means we’re always on the lookout for talented people who bring passion and creativity to every project. Our culture embraces openness, acts with respect, shows grit & guts and combines employment with enjoyment.

    Job Description

Project – the aim you’ll have

Join a dedicated team of Polish and British developers, testers, DevOps engineers, Data Engineers, Project Managers, and Scrum Masters building innovative document management software to advance clinical research.

We’ve partnered with our client for years, working on a trust-based, collaborative model. Our work spans development (.NET, C#, React), automation (Playwright), and DevOps (Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform), with a strong culture of knowledge sharing and teamwork.

We're looking for someone with agile and pragmatic mindset who enjoys working with development teams.
If you want to make an impact in healthcare while growing in a supportive environment, join us!

    Position – how you’ll contribute

    • Leading and coaching Scrum teams to enable them to self-organize to achieve their sprint goals.
    • Show the value delivered by the teams and by your own role
    • Improve not just team-level work, but the wider process — with the PO, business, and other dev/QA teams
    • Adapt your approach pragmatically instead of following Scrum by the book
    • Coordinate the team's day-to-day work, switching roles as needed — coach, SM, or problem-solver
    • Facilitating communication and Scrum team ceremonies

      Qualifications

Expectations – the experience you need

      • +3 years of commercial experience in the Agile way of working
      • Understanding that "Scrum Master" is just a title, and readiness to act as a hands-on work coordinator who switches hats and adapts flexibly to whatever challenge arises
      • Proven track record of demonstrating and communicating the value delivered by both development teams and the Scrum Master role itself
      • Experience in driving improvements beyond a single team's boundaries — across the wider process involving the Product Owner, business stakeholders, and other development and QA teams
      • Ability to think independently and pragmatically rather than rigidly following the Scrum Guide by the book
      • Hands-on experience engaging with CTOs, Heads of Development, and Team Leaders – presenting and advocating for solutions, driving change, and delivering root cause analysis
      • Ability to say no and keep workloads under control

Additional skills – the edge you have

      • Product development knowledge
      • People management skills
      • Technical background
      • Agile Certification – Scrum.org
