Job description

This is us

At Avenga, we believe that human creativity empowers technology that matters. Operating globally, our 6000+ specialists provide a full spectrum of services, including business and tech advisory, enterprise solutions, CX, UX and Ul design, managed services, product development, and software development.

This is the job

Join an international project in the Pharma & Life Sciences sector, focused on developing modern technology solutions supporting processes related to biosample data.

The Portal is a platform that integrates data related to human biosamples from clinical and non-clinical trials, as well as other biosample-related data, including study data, subject data and reference data.

The platform provides FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable) biosample data from both clinical and non-clinical sources.

Supports Pharma Biosample Services by providing enriched and clean data and enabling more efficient data flows. The data is consumed for operational and analytical purposes, supporting business processes such as sample data flow, quality control and data search.

Data extracted and transformed by system is made available to scientists through the Biosample Portal, a visualization tool that enables users to search for biosamples stored across internal and external repositories.

We are looking for an experienced Release Manager / Scrum Master / Project Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end software release and deployment process within a complex enterprise IT environment.

start date: 01/10/2026

Availability and commitment to join the project on a long-term basis, with an expected availability of at least 12 months.

This is you

  • Hands-on experience using JIRA for scope management, change traceability and release planning.

  • Experience with ServiceNow in Change and Release Management.

  • Experience managing at least two parallel sprint cycles.

  • Strong Scrum facilitation skills – experience leading ceremonies and enabling teams, rather than simply administering boards.

  • C1-level English, with confidence communicating with clients and US-based stakeholders.

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and coordination skills.

  • Ability to work effectively across business, project and technical teams.

Nice to have

  • Experience with JIRA ALM Template, including configuration and day-to-day use.

  • Experience working with data teams, data platforms or integration teams.

  • Experience with Veeva Vault or another regulated documentation management system.

  • Experience taking over and stabilizing a service from another vendor.

  • Scrum, Agile, Project Management or related certification.

This is your role

  • Own and coordinate the end-to-end release management process in a regulated environment.

  • Ensure that the GxP validation cycle is treated as an integral part of the release process.

  • Develop and maintain release schedules, manage dependencies between applications and coordinate release windows.

  • Lead two parallel sprint cycles across teams working with different technology stacks.

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews and Retrospectives.

  • Coordinate activities across development, QA, validation, business and other stakeholders.

  • Use JIRA operationally to manage scope, maintain change traceability and link work items to releases.

  • Manage Change and Release processes in ServiceNow, including change requests, change packages and approval workflows.

  • Track progress, risks, dependencies and blockers and ensure timely escalation where required.

  • Work closely with the client and US-based stakeholders in English.

  • Support continuous improvement of release and delivery processes.
