Job description

Lead a global Pricing & Proposals (P&P) team supporting Clario's Digital Physiology business unit. This role is responsible for overseeing pricing, proposals, Statements of Service (SOS), and change order development. The Associate Director will continuously evaluate current processes and implement improvements to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness while driving departmental and organizational strategic initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead a team responsible for the development of high-quality pricing documents, proposals, change orders, Statements of Service (SOS), and other client-required documents within established SLAs, client deadlines, and company policies and procedures.

  • Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement to drive efficiency and lead initiatives related to process optimization and system enhancements.

  • Support the design, implementation, and ongoing adoption of new technologies and departmental tools, including bidding and pricing platforms.

  • Drive compliance with and adoption of departmental systems, tools, processes, and best practices.

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain KPI reporting tools and provide regular reporting on business unit-specific departmental metrics.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Defining career paths and development opportunities for team members.

  • Developing training and professional development programs.

  • Communicating performance expectations and objectives.

  • Planning, monitoring, and evaluating team performance.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of an MBA.

  • 10+ years of experience in pricing and proposals, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical research, or CRO industry.

  • 7+ years of people leadership, management, or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred.
