Job description

FlexStaff is hiring a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist for our client.

Compensation: $37/hr
Location: Remote (Eastern Standard Time)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 830a - 5p 

*Note: This temporary assignment should run through at least December 31, 2026
*Note: This person should live in the Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut) 

This is a Sr Talent Acquisition Specialist role. Must have experience with full life cycle recruiting experience with corporate roles including accounting, finance, operations, sales.

JOB OVERVIEW:

The position is responsible to work collaboratively with all HR teams to develop and manage talent strategy initiatives. The role will focus on managing key projects, recruiting processes, programs, and metrics.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide HR recruiting support to region and/or line Business Units. Interact with hiring managers to ensure for placement of qualified applicants, track recruitment sources, maintain all recruiting data records, and prepare all staffing reports and statuses as required
  • Support and lead corporate programs, initiatives and special projects as needed and/or assigned by management (i.e., internship program).
  • Work and collaborate with company Social Media group, talent acquisition team and other HR groups on developing and executing new recruiting strategies, as well as HR Brand strategies (including Talent Brand, College and Diversity brands).
  • Full life cycle recruitment responsibilities including screening, interviewing, selection and processing of candidates


SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Good knowledge of HR/Personnel practices and principles, and all applicable labor, pay, benefits, health and safety laws and regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting techniques and employment policies and procedures, including all applicable EEO and ADA regulations.
  • Strong planning, time management, communications, decision making, presentation, human relations, and organizational skills

  • Strong understanding of industry practices
  • High proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures
  • Good planning/organizational skills and techniques
  • Good decision making, analysis and problem-solving skills with ability to multi-task

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good conflict resolution skills and ability to deliver difficult messages
  • Ability to build partnerships at all levels within the company, begin to build partnerships externally
  • Resolve complex issues in effective ways


MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically, 5 to 7 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically, a bachelor's degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus. May hold one or more industry certifications; professional certification may be required to advance.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
