Job Description:

Job Duck is seeking a Bilingual Receptionist to serve as a welcoming first point of contact for callers while providing consistent support to a busy professional team. The primary focus of this role is answering and returning phone calls, connecting callers with the appropriate person, and helping ensure every interaction is handled clearly and professionally. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys receptionist work, takes pride in being available for the team, and can deliver reliable service during both quiet and high-volume periods. Through thoughtful communication and timely follow-up, this individual will help create a positive experience for every caller.

• Monthly Compensation Range: from $1,015 to $1,100 USD.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Transfer calls to the appropriate team member or department.
  • Return phone calls in a timely manner.
  • Direct prospective client calls to the intake team when appropriate.
  • Gather initial information from callers before transferring them.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain accurate calendar information.
  • Follow up by phone with existing clients.
  • Use RingCentral for telephone communications.
  • Use Google email, calendar, chat, and video tools for daily communication and scheduling.
  • Maintain dependable attendance and remain available to answer calls throughout scheduled working hours.
  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and maintain a warm, professional tone.
  • Follow up with referral sources.
  • Manage multiple incoming calls during busy periods while remaining calm and organized.
  • Use Lawmatics and PracticePanther to support call related and client related workflows.
  • Use Microsoft Office tools and Fireflies as required for assigned work.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for callers.

Requirements:

Additional Job Description:

• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST

• Primary Systems: Lawmatics, PracticePanther, RingCentral, Google email, Google Calendar, Google chat and video tools, Microsoft Office suite, and Fireflies

Required Skills:

•Minimum of 1 year of experience in a client-facing role, such as customer service or sales.
•Advanced/native-level English skills (both written and spoken)

• Warm, friendly, and professional telephone presence

• Clear and confident spoken English

• Bilingual verbal communication

• Active listening skills

• Empathetic and thoughtful communication

• Ability to understand conversational context and adjust communication appropriately

• Composure during periods of high call volume

• Ability to manage several incoming calls without becoming overwhelmed

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Professional call handling and call transfer skills

• Scheduling and calendar coordination

• Client service orientation

• Follow-up and information gathering skills

• Genuine interest in long-term receptionist work

Work Shift:

9:00 AM - 6:00 PM [EST][EDT] (United States of America)
