Propósito del rol

Diseñar, desarrollar y mantener aplicaciones móviles nativas Android, asegurando experiencia de usuario fluida, rendimiento, escalabilidad, seguridad e integración con APIs backend.

Requisitos del Rol

Perfil Android Developer SSR/SR para desarrollar aplicaciones móviles nativas en un entorno retail/e-commerce, trabajando de forma remota desde LATAM en horario Chile. Se requiere experiencia comprobable SSR/SR, foco en calidad, arquitectura móvil, performance, testing,
colaboración ágil e integración con APIs backend.

Must-to-have

  • Nivel avanzado en Kotlin.
  • Sólidos conocimientos del SDK de Android, versiones del sistema operativo y adaptación a distintos tamaños de pantalla.
  • Familiaridad con APIs RESTful para conectar aplicaciones Android con servicios backend.
  • Dominio de patrones y mejores prácticas UI Android: Activities, Fragments, ViewBinding, LiveData, ViewModel.
  • Experiencia con MVVM o Clean Architecture.
  • Manejo avanzado de Android Studio, Gradle, emuladores y profiling tools.
  • Más de 3 años de experiencia comprobable como desarrollador Android.
  • Inglés para lectura y escritura técnica.

Deseables

  • Jetpack Compose aunque el proyecto se base principalmente en View System tradicional.
  • Java para legacy support.
  • CI/CD Android: Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise.
  • Android Jetpack Components: Room, Navigation, etc.
  • Retrofit / Ktor / OkHttp.
  • Coroutines / Flow / RxJava.
  • Room / SQLite.
  • Testing con JUnit, Espresso, Mockito.
  • Push Notifications FCM.

Responsabilidades primarias

  • Refactorizar módulos existentes para mejorar arquitectura, legibilidad y rendimiento.
  • Diagnosticar y corregir bugs en producción y entornos de desarrollo.
  • Implementar nuevas funcionalidades equilibrando usabilidad, rendimiento y experiencia de usuario.
  • Crear componentes reutilizables entre módulos/regiones.
  • Mentorear técnicamente a perfiles más junior.
  • Colaborar con UX/UI, QA, backend y DevOps en entregas ágiles.
  • Participar en pruebas, mantenimiento, mejora continua y despliegue hacia Google Play.
