Job description

Looking for Philippines-based candidates

Job Role: Product Marketing Specialist

Compensation range: $1,800-2,500 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: They are an established Australian technology company that helps enterprise organisations proactively identify issues within critical digital processes before they impact customers or business operations. With a growing customer and partner network, they are now expanding their marketing function, giving this hire the opportunity to execute an existing strategy while building the campaigns, systems, and processes that will support their next stage of growth.

Role Overview: This is a hands-on Product Marketing Specialist role for someone who can take a technical product and turn it into clear, well-designed, customer-facing material, then build and publish that material themselves.

You will work to an existing marketing timeline covering new product features, customer use cases and case studies. Expect an intense build phase up front, creating the core asset library and the reusable templates behind it, settling into a steadier rhythm of feature launches, case studies and campaign content.

The person we are looking for sits across four areas: product marketing, written content, design, and light web and video production. You do not need to be world-class in all four, but you need to be genuinely capable across them and able to work independently without a creative team behind you.

You will be expected to be available in alignment with Australian business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product marketing
    - Translate new product features and releases into clear positioning and messaging for a technical buyer
    - Develop use cases that connect what the product does to the problems specific customer segments actually have
    - Build launch content for new features, announcement posts, one-pagers, web copy, short demo videos
    - Maintain a consistent product narrative across all collateral
  2. Content and case studies
    - Write and produce customer case studies, including the one-page case study format already in use on the website
    - Write blog articles, feature explainers and thought-leadership pieces aligned to the marketing plan
    - Produce sales and partner collateral, one-page brochures, overview documents, capability summaries
  3. Design
    - Design LinkedIn graphics, post assets and campaign visuals
    - Lay out case studies, one-pagers and brochures to a consistent brand standard
    - Build reusable, templated assets (customer logo swaps, repeatable case study and one-pager formats) so the library scales without a redesign every time
  4. Web
    - Publish and update pages on the website, case study pages, feature pages, landing pages
    - Work confidently in WordPress and/or directly with HTML and CSS
    - Maintain content in HubSpot
  5. Video
    - Edit short-form video for LinkedIn and the website, product demos, feature walkthroughs, customer clips
    - Add captions, motion graphics, branding and basic screen-recording polish

Requirements

  • More than 3 years in product marketing, B2B marketing or a content marketing role, ideally for a SaaS or technical product
  • Demonstrated ability to write about technical subject matter for a business audience
  • Excellent written English. This role is writing-heavy and the writing is customer-facing
  • Strong design capability in Figma, Canva, or the Adobe suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Video editing in Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut
  • Hands-on WordPress experience, plus enough HTML and CSS to make changes without breaking things
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot, or a comparable CRM and marketing platform
  • Proficiency with AI tools for research, drafting and production speed
  • Self-directed. This person will often be the only marketer working on a task, so they need to take a brief and run

Nice to have:

  • Experience marketing to engineering, QA, IT operations or enterprise technology buyers
  • Experience interviewing customers for case studies
  • SEO fundamental
  • HubSpot certification
  • Familiarity with software testing, monitoring or observability concepts

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
  • Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)
