Job description

πŸŒ™ Licensed Mental Health Therapist β€” Maryland

Peak Hours | Evenings & Weekends | Fully Remote

πŸ“ Maryland License Required | πŸ•’ Part-Time | πŸ’° Monthly Bonus Potential

πŸŽ’ Make an Impact When Families Need You Most

The hours families need care most are often the hours traditional providers aren't available. That's where you come in.

Backpack Healthcare provides accessible behavioral healthcare to children, teens, young adults, and their families β€” 100% online and covered by most insurance.

We're a clinician-led, minority-owned organization that believes great outcomes start with supporting great clinicians.

We're looking for Maryland-licensed therapists who are energized by evening and weekend work and want to make a meaningful impact during these high-demand peak care hours.

If you're looking for competitive pay, additional monthly bonus potential, professional growth, and a team that actually supports you, we'd love to meet you.

⏰ Your Schedule. Their Time of Need.

This role is designed specifically around our highest-demand hours:

Weekdays: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Weekends: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Part-time schedule with peak-hour availability required.

These are the hours when kids are home from school, parents are available, and families are often most ready to engage in care.

Your availability can help a family get the support they need when they actually need it.

πŸ’° Competitive Pay + Monthly Bonus Potential

We believe clinicians should be rewarded for both their clinical expertise and their commitment to providing consistent, high-quality care.

  • πŸ’΅ $65 per billable hour β€” LCSW-C, LCPC, or LMFT with independent licensure
  • πŸ’΅ $45 per billable hour β€” LMSW or LGPC (supervision provided; limited openings)
  • 🎯 Monthly bonus potential for eligible clinicians based on applicable productivity and performance criteria
  • πŸ₯ Medical, dental, and vision
  • πŸ’΅ 401(k) with 3% company match
  • 🌴 Paid time off
  • πŸ“š $300 annual CEU reimbursement
  • πŸŽ“ Free clinical supervision for eligible licenses
  • ❀️ $25,000 company-paid life insurance
  • 🌱 Employee Assistance Program
  • πŸš€ Clinical leadership opportunities, including our Residency & Fellowship Program

⭐ Boost Your Monthly Earnings

Eligible clinicians have the opportunity to earn an additional monthly performance-based bonus on top of their regular billable compensation.

Bonus eligibility is based on applicable productivity and performance expectations, giving clinicians another opportunity to increase their monthly earnings while being recognized for consistently delivering high-quality care.

🧠 What You'll Do

You'll provide compassionate, evidence-informed care to children, teens, young adults, and their families through secure telehealth.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • πŸ“ Conducting clinical intakes and developing individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans
  • πŸ’» Providing individual, family, and group therapy via telehealth
  • 🀝 Collaborating with therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and other members of our interdisciplinary team
