Recruiting Specialist  


The Language Doctors is a U.S.–based language services company providing translation and interpretation solutions for healthcare, legal, government, and business clients worldwide Because our work directly affects people in important moments, we take talent selection seriously.  

To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Recruiting Specialist who is curious, organized, people-oriented, and excited to grow a career in global recruiting within the linguistics industry. 

This is a fully remote role, open to top talent across Latin America. 


The Role 

As a Recruiting Specialist, you will support end-to-end recruitment processes for a range of language professional roles. You’ll work closely with senior recruiters and hiring leaders to ensure we attract, assess, and onboard qualified candidates while delivering an excellent candidate experience. 

This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of recruiting experience who wants to deepen their sourcing, screening, and interviewing skills in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Partner with hiring managers and senior recruiters to understand role requirements, priorities, and timelines. 
  • Review and analyze job requirements to ensure clear alignment with candidate profiles and client needs. 
  • Create, publish, and manage job postings across multiple platforms (job boards, databases, social media, etc.). 
  • Screen resumes and applications to assess qualifications, experience, certifications, and overall fit. 
  • Conduct initial phone and video interviews, evaluating communication skills, professionalism, and role alignment. 
  • Support sourcing efforts by researching and engaging active and passive candidates using creative strategies. 
  • Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in internal systems and tracking tools. 
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive candidate experience. 
  • Assist with rate discussions and offer processes under the guidance of senior team members. 
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team to continuously improve workflows, sourcing strategies, and hiring outcomes. }


Required Skills & Experience 

  • 1–3 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related HR role. 
  • Interest in or exposure to remote hiring and global talent markets (experience in linguistics or healthcare is a plus but not required). 
  • Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written). 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in phone and video-based interactions. 
  • Ability to screen candidates effectively and ask structured, insightful questions. 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Google Sheets, and cloud-based tools (OneDrive or similar). 
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely.
