About the client:

Our client, a US-based Criminal Defense Law Firm, is committed to delivering strong legal representation with a client-focused approach. The firm is known for its professionalism, responsiveness, and dedication to guiding clients through complex legal matters with care and integrity.

About the role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Paralegal to support our client’s background legal work and case coordination. This role is dedicated to managing essential behind-the-scenes legal tasks and serving as a key liaison to coordinate depositions, hearings, and court dates with opposing counsel and the court systems.

This is the right role for a meticulous professional who thrives in a structured environment, understands US criminal legal proceedings, and takes ownership of critical schedules and legal filings.

US Law firm experience is required. Criminal law experience is preferred.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage background legal preparation, draft basic legal documents, and compile case files.

  • Coordinate schedules, depositions, hearings, and court appearances with opposing counsel, judicial officers, and court staff.

  • Track court dockets, filing deadlines, and procedural requirements to keep cases on schedule.

  • Organize, review, and redact legal documents and evidence for upcoming proceedings.

  • Maintain accurate case management records, client files, and calendar systems.

  • Communicate efficiently and professionally with internal legal teams and court personnel.



Who are we looking for?

  • 2+ years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably supporting US Criminal Law. ]

  • Proven experience handling legal court scheduling, deposition coordination, and docket management.

  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Deep understanding of US legal procedures, terminology, and court rules.

  • Highly organized, self-directed, and reliable in meeting rigid court deadlines.

  • Strong emotional intelligence, discretion with sensitive legal information, and high attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple calls and tasks simultaneously.

  • Experience using Filevine, Clio, or similar legal case management systems.

Position: Paralegal

Remote Status: Fully Remote

Preferred Location: Latin America

Working Hours: 9 am - 5 pm EST

Holidays: US Federal Holidays

Salary: USD 1200 - USD 1600 per month
