LEGAL ASSISTANT / PARALEGAL — REMOTE (LATIN AMERICA)

This is a remote position.

SLG Connect is hiring a Legal Assistant / Paralegal to work with U.S.-based personal injury law firms. Full-time remote position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft, review, and organize litigation documents
  
• Manage discovery processes and communications
  
• Maintain legal calendars and court deadlines
  
• Organize electronic case files and medical records
  
• Communicate with clients, courts, and third parties
  
• Prepare cases for trial
  
• Track liens and medical record requests

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

✓ 2+ years as paralegal or legal assistant

✓ Proven personal injury litigation experience (mandatory)

✓ Discovery process management experience

✓ Legal calendaring and deadline knowledge

✓ BILINGUAL: English and Spanish (professional level)

✓ Strong written and verbal communication

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• U.S. personal injury law firm litigation experience
  
• California litigation cases experience (MAJOR PLUS)
  
• Experience with Clio, MyCase, Elevene
  
• Medical records review and lien tracking
  
• Paralegal certification or law degree
  
• Knowledge of U.S. court procedures
  
• Experience with remote time-tracking tools

• Availability during U.S. business hours (EST/CST)
