Our client is seeking an Associate – M&A & Strategy to support transaction execution, market research, and strategic analysis in a boutique advisory environment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, and the ability to operate independently in a high-ownership setting.


About the Role
You will work directly with the Founder, building financial models, preparing client-ready materials, drafting reports, and contributing to business development efforts. This position offers meaningful upside tied to transaction flow, with performance-based incentives in addition to a competitive base.


Responsibilities

  • Build financial models (valuation, transaction analysis, scenario modeling)
  • Prepare client-ready presentations and materials in PowerPoint
  • Draft reports, memos, research insights, and analytical commentary
  • Support business development through white papers, market research, and branding efforts
  • Participate in project update discussions with clients


Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in M&A, transaction advisory, valuation, investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance
  • Advanced Excel skills (independently proficient)
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation development skills
  • Excellent communication skills, curiosity, and problem-solving mindset

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary ($2,000 USD/month)
  • Deal-based commission upon closing
