Liberty Dental Plan is seeking a highly analytical, collaborative, and solutions-oriented Clinical Operations Analyst to help optimize clinical operations, improve workflows, and support strategic decision-making. About the Role
The Clinical Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting and enhancing clinical operations by analyzing data, coordinating initiatives, improving processes, and facilitating communication across teams. This position partners closely with clinicians, operational leaders, and cross-functional departments to identify opportunities for improvement, support strategic initiatives, and provide leadership with meaningful insights that drive business decisions.
This is a full-time remote position.
What You'll Do
Clinical Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze clinical and operational data to identify trends, findings, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and deliver routine and ad hoc reports for clinical leadership.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making.
- Review data for accuracy and help ensure reporting integrity and reliability.
- Prepare executive-level presentations, project updates, and stakeholder communications.
- Provide recommendations that support organizational and clinical objectives.
Clinical Operations & Process Improvement
- Evaluate clinical workflows and operational processes to identify efficiency improvements.
- Support implementation of new processes, tools, and operational initiatives.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation activities for clinical system enhancements and implementations.
- Assess system effectiveness and recommend process or workflow improvements.
- Document and maintain standardized procedures, workflows, and best practices.
- Create and update documentation that supports onboarding, training, and operational excellence.
Project Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate initiatives, monitor progress, and identify potential risks or delays.
- Recommend solutions and mitigation strategies to support successful project outcomes.
- Facilitate meetings, project discussions, and regular stakeholder touchpoints.
- Serve as a liaison between clinical teams and operational leadership.
- Provide consultative support and guidance to clinicians and business partners.
- Foster collaboration across departments to ensure alignment on goals and initiatives.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare operations, compliance, oversight, analytics, or a related environment.
- Knowledge of State Medicaid programs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Dental industry experience.
- Knowledge of CDT dental procedure codes.
- Experience creating presentations for executive and senior leadership audiences.
- Project management experience.
- Experience supporting clinical operations or healthcare process improvement initiatives.
