Job description

Salmon is a technology-driven financial company building a banking and lending platform across Southeast Asia, starting in the Philippines.

7M+ app downloads. 2M+ monthly active users. 7,000+ partner stores. US$310M+ raised from top-tier investors.

Here, you get real ownership from day one, high standards, and direct communication. You'll work alongside a team that combines deep local knowledge and experience scaling regulated financial companies from scratch.

If you want to solve complex problems at scale and directly impact how millions of people access and manage money, come build with us.

Southeast Asia's fintech moment starts here.

About the role:

You'll drive delivery of Salmon's Loyalty & Engagement platform — a new initiative building the service that powers every point, tier, challenge, and reward across our apps.

What you'll do:

  • Own delivery of a platform built entirely in-house: a loyalty service with its own rules engine, ledger, event pipeline, and customer-facing frontends across mobile and web — with the team assembled from scratch

  • Co-own the roadmap with the Platform Owner, coordinating delivery across backend and frontend engineers, QA, Product Owners, system owners, and legal/compliance and marketing streams

  • Turn fast-moving, ambiguous initiative scope into a sequenced delivery plan with a clear critical path — from the gateway and ledger to event flows and frontends

What you'll own:

  • Break the initiative into a working delivery plan: sequence the build across the gateway, ledger, event flows, and frontends, map dependencies, and keep the critical path clear at every stage

  • Define functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and test cases for critical loyalty flows — earn, burn, tiering, challenges, and reward delivery

  • Design and run the workflows for campaign and reward setup — from configuration through compliance pre-checks, review, and go-live

  • Work with engineering and QA to guarantee correctness in the loyalty ledger, cross-service integrations, and analytics event contracts — reconciliation, idempotency, and data quality are first-class concerns

  • Manage dependencies and risks across teams, keep stakeholders aligned on timelines and priorities, and surface trade-offs clearly

  • Own delivery and platform-health metrics: time-to-launch for new mechanics, reliability of point and reward flows, pre-launch check coverage, and data quality

What makes you a strong fit:

  • 3+ years as a Technical Program Manager or Systems Analyst

  • Hands-on experience with web and/or mobile products — FinTech or MarTech background is a plus

  • Experience with platforms that combine a backend service and customer-facing frontends — loyalty, payments, CRM, or analytics

  • Strong structural and technical thinking: you break down ambiguous problems, read specs, ask the right engineering questions, and reason about trade-offs across APIs, data contracts, and integrations

  • Comfortable working with balances or ledgers — you appreciate correctness, edge cases, and reconciliation

  • Strong English communication skills
