Job description

Summary/Objective

The Graphic Designer is responsible for implementing design adaptations and translations of existing creative assets across multiple formats and media, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. This role focuses on resizing, reformatting, and localizing key visuals and layouts for print, digital, and social media platforms. It requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within established design systems. The designer collaborates closely with the creative, production, and project management teams to deliver high-quality assets that meet both creative standards and production specifications.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Adapt existing master creative layouts into a variety of formats and specifications (digital banners, social media, print ads, OOH, etc.)
  • Ensure consistency and alignment with the original design concept and brand identity.
  • Work with production teams to make necessary revisions or updates to layouts based on feedback or technical requirements.
  • Maintain version control and organization of adaptation files.
  • Prepare and package final mechanicals and production-ready files.
  • Follow established templates, guidelines, and toolkits provided by the creative team.
  • Ensure deliverables are executed on time and with the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Art Directors, Project Managers, and Traffic/Production teams to clarify adaptation needs.
  • Apply client feedback and corrections with precision and efficiency.
  • Conduct basic quality assurance checks prior to file release.
  • Comply with all Company policies as described in the Employee Manual.

Preferred Education and Related Experience:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design with a focus on production and adaptation work.
  • Experience working in an advertising agency or in-house creative team preferred.


Knowledge and Critical Skills Required:


  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Knowledge of file setup for print, digital and social formats.
  • Understanding of layout principles, typography, and visual hierarchy.
  • Strong organizational and version control skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and execute with precision.
  • Familiarity with online proofing tools and workflow systems a plus.


Complete understanding of:


  1. Color theory and color relationships
  2. Typographic terms that identify type forms and the specifications required to refer to typographic settings (i.e., points, leading, picas, kerning, tracking, cap-height, x-height etc.)
  3. Perspective and space relationships
  4. Page composition and grid structures
  5. Print production process, knowledge of production techniques, and correct disking procedures
  6. Photography and the photographic process


Demonstrated ability to:


  1. Communicate thorough knowledge of assigned product(s)
  2. Provide effective direction at photo shoots
  3. Effectively check and approve work on press
  4. Effectively collect electronic materials for output
  5. Effectively handle multiple assignments at one time
  6. Manage challenging situations both internally and with the client


Physical Demands:


  • Regular use of computer and design software.
  • May occasionally lift materials or files up to 10 pounds.
  • Must be able to sit and work at a desk for extended periods.


Schedule Requirements: 


Due to the nature of the business this position requires to work Monday to Friday day shifts but must be available to work flexible shifts, holidays & weekends should it be asked.
