Position Title: Mid-Level Creative Designer

Location: Remote LATAM

What you will be doing:

We are seeking a mid-level Creative Designer to support CarParts.com’s digital marketing and e-commerce initiatives. This is a hands-on, high-volume production role focused on creating polished, on-brand assets for promotional campaigns, paid media, email, e-commerce experiences, and blog content.

This role is centered on designing engaging digital assets for marketing and e-commerce, with a strong emphasis on visual communication, brand consistency, and production excellence. While graphic design is the primary focus, you will occasionally create simple motion graphics and short-form videos using existing photography, stock footage, and AI-powered creative tools. You will work within an established creative process, collaborate with cross-functional teams across the U.S. and Manila, and help bring campaigns to life through thoughtful, high-quality design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design creative assets for merchandising campaigns, seasonal promotions, advertising campaigns, and ad hoc marketing needs across digital channels.

  • Produce high-volume campaign assets in multiple sizes, formats, placements, and platform variations efficiently and accurately.

  • Create short-form video content, typically 6- or 15-second social-style assets, using stock footage, existing photography, and available editing tools.

  • Transform still photography and existing creative assets into video and motion content.

  • Adapt video and motion creative for email, Google advertising, paid social, TikTok, Instagram Reels, Meta, YouTube, and other digital placements.

  • Uphold CarParts.com brand standards and maintain visual consistency from concept through deployment.

  • Create and update on-site product detail page modules and Amazon A+ content to support product storytelling, conversion, and brand consistency.

  • Design and resize promotional and banner assets for CMS-driven merchandising campaigns.

  • Support layout updates and UX improvements across product detail pages, landing pages, category pages, and other digital surfaces.

  • Improve blog mobile layouts, widget structure, readability, and accessibility.

  • Create visual layouts for blog articles, including headers, inline graphics, and editorial imagery.

  • Prepare and deploy campaign ad creative for the blog with the appropriate sizing, placement, and brand alignment.

  • Manage assigned work through the established Jira-based workflow and communicate potential blockers early.

  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, merchandising, product, and engineering stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4–5 years of professional graphic design, digital design experience, preferably within e-commerce, retail, or another high-production marketing environment.

  • Experience producing creative assets for web, paid media, and multiple digital formats and surfaces.

  • A portfolio demonstrating strong design judgment, brand sensibility, typography, layout, and production-quality creative work.

  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with high asset volume and shifting priorities.

  • Strong proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, and design systems.

  • Strong proficiency in Canva.

  • Basic to intermediate proficiency with video editing and motion design tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro) to support simple motion graphics and short-form video content as needed.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.

  • Working knowledge of AI design tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, or similar platforms.

  • Ability to use AI tools effectively to scale, adapt, and produce creative assets more efficiently.

  • Ability to produce clean, accurate, and on-brand work with limited hand-holding.

  • Ability to manage assigned work, identify blockers early, and consistently meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work full U.S. Pacific Time hours.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience creating Amazon A+ content modules and brand store designs.

  • Familiarity with CMS platforms such as Bloomreach.

  • Understanding of how designs are prepared and handed off for development.

  • Familiarity with WordPress.

  • Basic HTML and CSS knowledge.

  • Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards for web and mobile layouts.

  • Print design experience.

  • Experience within automotive, aftermarket parts, or e-commerce retail categories.

  • Experience collaborating with teams across the U.S., Latin America, and/or Manila.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Ability to work quickly and effectively in a high-volume production environment.

  • Strong workload management and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to communicate blockers and potential delivery risks early.

  • Fresh thinking and creative initiative while working within established briefs and processes.

  • Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with creative, marketing, merchandising, product, and engineering teams.

  • Adaptability in an environment where priorities and creative requests may shift frequently.

  • Willingness to learn and incorporate new tools, particularly AI-enabled creative tools.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a broader creative eam
