QA Automation Lead

Your mission

As a Senior QA Automation Lead, you will:

• Define, own, and continuously evolve the QA and test automation strategy across our products.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers, providing technical direction, coaching, and feedback.
• Architect and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web (ReactJS) and mobile (React Native) applications.
• Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to embed quality practices throughout the SDLC.
• Own the end-to-end test strategy, covering functional, API, regression, performance, and data testing.
• Define and track quality metrics and KPIs, reporting on product quality to leadership.
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and increase release confidence.
• Evaluate and champion new tools, frameworks, and best practices to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
• Lead risk assessment and mitigation planning for releases, balancing speed and quality.
• Align the QA roadmap and priorities with overall business objectives and release planning.

Your profile

• 10-15 years of experience in QA, including substantial hands-on experience in test automation for web and mobile applications.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring, or managing QA engineers or a QA team, with strong people and coaching skills.
• Strong expertise with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Appium, applied at scale.
• Strong coding skills in Python (or a similar language) for designing and maintaining test frameworks.
• Deep experience testing web applications (ReactJS) and mobile applications (React Native).
• Extensive experience testing and validating API endpoints (REST/GraphQL).
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience with end-to-end data testing and data validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of root cause analysis, debugging, and log analysis.
• Experience designing and executing performance and load testing strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable presenting quality status to senior leadership.
• Track record of building or maturing QA processes, standards, and best practices within an organization.
