Engineer or SME with Knowledge in Grundversorgung process in Germany

Your mission

We are looking for a German native-speaking Subject Matter Expert with deep expertise in Germany’s energy supply market, particularly Grundversorgung, customer lifecycle processes, billing, market communication, supplier switching, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with utilities, energy suppliers, or energy technology platforms and can translate complex business processes into scalable operational and technical solutions. Python knowledge is welcome but not required; strong domain expertise and stakeholder engagement skills are essential. Experience with digital transformation, process automation, or modern utility platforms such as Kraken is highly desirable. Knowledge of GPKE, MaKo, WiM, and related German market processes is a strong advantage.

• Native German speaker
• 5+ years of experience in the German energy market
• Deep knowledge of Grundversorgung and regulated utility processes
• Experience with billing, customer operations, and market communication
• Ability to work with product, engineering, and business teams
• Python/data analysis skills are a plus, not a must-have
