Senior Databricks Data Engineer

Location: Poland

Work Mode: 100% Remote

Rate: Up to 160 PLN/h net B2B

We are looking for a Senior Databricks Data Engineer to join our Client's thriving Insights & Data divisionβ€”an expert team of over 400 professionals focused on delivering advanced data-driven solutions.

In this role, you will specialize in Cloud & Big Data engineering, helping to build scalable architectures for processing large and complex datasets across major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Working across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), you will leverage modern data frameworks, programming methodologies, and DevOps best practices to create impactful and efficient solutions.

Your Tasks:
  • Design and implement data processing solutions using Databricks for large-scale and diverse datasets.

  • Design, build, and enhance data pipelines utilizing Python and cloud-native tools.

  • Collaborate closely with solution architects to define and uphold best practices in data engineering.

  • Ensure data consistency, security, and scalability within cloud-based environments.

Your Profile:
  • Commercial experience in data engineering, with hands-on Databricks expertise.

  • Strong programming skills in Python for automation and data transformation.

  • Experience working with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.

Nice-to-Have:
  • Solid understanding of SQL, including query optimization and data modeling.

  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep).

  • Experience with real-time data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka or Spark Streaming).

  • Knowledge of cloud storage solutions like Data Lake, Snowflake, or Synapse.

  • Hands-on experience with PySpark for distributed data processing.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate or cloud-based data certifications).
