Our client is a top-tier global consulting company currently delivering a strategic, high-impact project for a leader in the pharmaceutical industry.
As an SAP DRC Finance Consultant, you will act as the crucial bridge between complex international tax regulations and SAP technical architecture (S/4HANA or ECC). You will be responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and maintaining the SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) solution, ensuring global statutory reporting compliance.
Set up and maintain the SAP DRC framework, including eDocument Cockpit, Application Interface Framework (AIF), and statutory reporting functions.
Map country-specific legal requirements (CTC models, e-way bills, SAF-T/JPK, local VAT reporting) into standard SAP DRC functionalities.
Collaborate with integration teams to establish secure connections between SAP and external tax portals via SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) or APIs.
Partner with global tax and finance teams to monitor legal changes and translate them into SAP technical specifications.
Analyze and optimize existing financial processes (AP, AR, GL) for tax determination, pricing procedures, and master data on e-invoicing.
Troubleshoot transaction errors in eDocument Cockpit/AIF and implement SAP Notes, Support Packages, and legal updates (OSS).
Experience: Min. 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO modules.
Specialization: Min. 2–3 years of direct experience with SAP DRC (formerly SAP eDocument / ACR).
Project Delivery: Participation in at least one full-lifecycle implementation of global e-invoicing (e.g., Polish KSeF, Italian SDI, French Chorus Pro, or Romanian RO e-Factura).
Domain Knowledge: Expert knowledge of indirect taxes (VAT/GST) in SAP and complex EU VAT rules for multinational corporations (MNC).
Education: Higher education degree in IT, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Languages: Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
Nice to have: Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging for analyzing tax calculations and interfaces.
Rate: Up to 180 PLN/h or 42 EUR/h.
Contract Type: B2B. Please note: You must be able to invoice Optiveum Poland as a self-employed person.
Work Model: 100% remote from anywhere within the EU (working in the EMEA time zone) with zero travel required.
