Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:  
The Marketing Specialist, Marketing, is responsible for managing the execution of integrated marketing campaigns and projects. This role supports the broader Member and Donor marketing team to coordinate the collection of feedback, assets and deliverables to ensure projects meet defined objectives, are delivered on time and yield effective results.  

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
•    Works collaboratively with marketing and business teammates to understand objectives.  
•    Communicates proactively by providing recommendations, plans, project statuses and issues.  
•    Provides input on project and campaigns strategies.  
•    Creates and manages project timelines and ensures on time, on budget completion of projects from concept through implementation.  
•    Develops and maintains effective working relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization. 
•    Understands and interprets company branding standards.  


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:
•    Project management best practices. 
•    Content development, written and visual. 
•    Creative development processes.  
•    Marketing campaign management.

Ability to: 
•    Build effective relationships  
•    Demonstrate advanced written and oral communications.  
•    Manage multiple streams of work with varying levels of complexity. 
•    Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.  
•    Be a self-starter. 
•    Commit to travel as required  

Education and/or Experience:
•    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Journalism, Communications or relevant field.  
•    1-3 years of progressive experience in marketing, planning, communications, project management or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.  
•    Experience working successfully with cross-functional partners. 
•    Experience with campaign management, awareness and/or engagement programs.  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)
•    Healthcare and/or non-profit experience.
