Job description

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced CRM operations and data quality professionals with strong expertise in data governance, customer data management, operational workflows, and business systems.

This role focuses on reviewing professional documents, spreadsheets, and presentation materials involving CRM operations, data quality, and related business processes. Selected experts will assess outputs for accuracy, completeness, operational logic, presentation quality, and overall professional credibility.

Key Responsibilities

CRM Operations Review

  • Evaluate work products involving CRM processes, customer data, and operational workflows
  • Assess whether CRM-related recommendations reflect realistic business practices
  • Review data-entry, maintenance, enrichment, and lifecycle processes
  • Identify workflow gaps, inconsistent records, and unsupported assumptions
  • Apply professional judgement to common CRM operations scenarios

Data Quality & Governance

  • Review data-quality processes involving completeness, consistency, accuracy, and duplication
  • Evaluate approaches to data cleansing, validation, standardisation, and enrichment
  • Identify missing controls, weak validation logic, and unreliable data assumptions
  • Assess whether proposed data-governance practices are practical and appropriately structured
  • Review processes for maintaining trustworthy customer and operational data

CRM Data Management

  • Evaluate customer, account, contact, opportunity, and related CRM records
  • Review field usage, taxonomy, hierarchy, and record-management practices
  • Assess data integrity across business processes and reporting workflows
  • Identify duplicate, incomplete, outdated, or inconsistent records
  • Evaluate whether CRM structures support reliable downstream analysis and operations

Operational Reporting & Analysis

  • Review spreadsheets and reports used for CRM operations and data-quality monitoring
  • Assess metrics, calculations, assumptions, and reporting logic
  • Identify inconsistencies between underlying data and reported conclusions
  • Evaluate whether dashboards and operational reports communicate findings clearly
  • Flag analytical gaps that could affect business decisions

Documents & Presentation Review

  • Evaluate professional documents and slide decks for accuracy, structure, and clarity
  • Review presentations for logical flow, visual consistency, and effective communication
  • Identify factual, formatting, and presentation issues
  • Assess whether charts, tables, and supporting visuals accurately reflect underlying data
  • Ensure recommendations are clearly connected to the available evidence

Structured Evaluation & Feedback

  • Assess assigned outputs against domain-specific quality criteria
  • Identify factual, analytical, operational, and presentation errors
  • Distinguish material data-quality issues from minor formatting concerns
  • Provide clear, structured written feedback explaining identified strengths and weaknesses
  • Apply evaluation standards consistently across documents, spreadsheets, and presentations

Ideal Profile

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in CRM operations, data quality, data governance, data stewardship, revenue operations, or a closely related function
  • Strong practical understanding of CRM workflows and customer-data management
  • Experience identifying and resolving data-quality issues across operational systems
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable systems is highly valued
  • Strong spreadsheet and analytical skills
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint / Google Slides
  • Native or professional fluency in English
  • Excellent written communication and ability to provide precise, structured feedback
  • Strong attention to detail across operational, analytical, and visual work products
  • Master's degree or higher from a recognised institution is advantageous

Engagement Details

  • Part-time independent contractor engagement
  • Fully remote
  • Flexible scheduling based on project requirements
  • Compensation: $70–$110/hour
  • Work includes evaluation of CRM-related documents, spreadsheets, reports, and presentation materials
  • Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on project needs and performance
  • Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party
  • H1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagement
