Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare Statements of Advice (SOAs), Records of Advice (ROAs), and other financial planning documentation.
  • Interpret client meeting notes and prepare compliant financial advice documents.
  • Maintain and update client records using Xplan.
  • Conduct financial modelling, research, and analysis to support the Financial Adviser.
  • Ensure all advice documents comply with Australian regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Financial Adviser and support staff to ensure timely completion of client deliverables.
  • Review and update client information, strategy documents, and implementation paperwork.
  • Provide general paraplanning and administrative support as required.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of Australian financial planning experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience using Xplan (Essential).
  • Proven paraplanning experience, including drafting SOAs, interpreting client meeting notes, and preparing financial advice documentation.
  • Experience working within an Australian financial planning practice (Essential).
  • Familiarity with Australian financial planning regulations and compliance requirements (Essential).
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
