Senior Java Developer

Job Description -

Seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer with strong experience in supporting business-critical applications and playing a key role in reviewing opportunities for migration of features to an API-driven architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Maintenance & Enhancement: Support and improve existing enterprise applications.
• Modernization: Play a key role in migrating legacy architectures to RESTful APIs and microservices using modern frameworks like Spring Boot.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and complex integration challenges.
• Technical Leadership: Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship to other developers, and document technical designs and workflows.
• AI Integration: Effectively leverage approved AI tools to improve development efficiency and automation.

Required Skills & Experience

• Core Java & Spring: 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Oracle Stack: 5+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware (ADF, Oracle BPM, SOA Suite, WebLogic) and strong PL/SQL debugging skills.
• Architecture: Deep understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Cloud & DevOps: Experience with AWS services and proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket and Bamboo.
• Databases: Experience with both relational databases (SQL/ORM) and NoSQL databases.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in Agile environments.

• Experience with identity and authentication.
• Familiarity with older Java UI technologies like Struts, JSF, or JSP for legacy support.
