Provides administrative and analytical support to underwriting teams, assisting with the preparation, review, and maintenance of underwriting documentation and data for accurate risk assessment and policy issuance. Ensures compliance with established guidelines, timelines, and service standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Assist underwriters in gathering, reviewing, and validating documentation for risk assessment and policy processing. 
• Prepare and maintain accurate underwriting files, logs, and records in systems of record. 
• Compile and analyze data to support underwriting decisions and internal reporting requirements. 
 Monitor workflow to ensure timely completion of underwriting tasks and compliance with procedures. 
• Respond to internal and external inquiries related to underwriting documentation and status updates. 
• Coordinate communication between underwriters, brokers, and other internal departments as needed. 
• Support quality control checks to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES / REGISTRATIONS 

• No specific certifications, licenses, or registrations are required. 

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS 

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word, for data processing and reporting. 
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for interactions with internal teams and external contacts. 
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting data and identifying discrepancies.
