Job description

About Videre

Videre is an award-winning, UK-registered NGO that exposes human rights abuses and holds perpetrators to account. We work directly with communities in stressed environments, equipping networks of activists and community leaders with the technology and training necessary to safely capture visual documentation of political violence, human rights violations, and other systemic abuses. Our aim is to ensure that the concerns and knowledge of affected communities drive advocacy, policy, and legal action.

About the Role

Videre's partnerships work is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Project Manager to help us deliver an expanding portfolio of projects and grants. Working closely with partners, consultants and colleagues across the organisation, you'll play a key role in making sure partnership projects are well planned, properly resourced and delivered effectively from start to finish. You'll be responsible for keeping projects on track, managing donor and budget requirements, and helping build the systems and support needed as our partnerships portfolio continues to evolve and grow.

Key Responsibilities

Project and Partnership Management

  • Manage a portfolio of partnership projects, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives, budgets, timelines and quality standards.
  • Develop project plans, monitor progress, identify risks and adapt approaches as contexts and priorities change.
  • Maintain strong, trusted relationships with partners, serving as their primary day-to-day point of contact.
  • Support collaborative planning, problem-solving and decision-making with partners to maximise impact and sustainability.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with organisational priorities and donor commitments.

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning

  • Lead project monitoring and reporting, ensuring progress and impact are effectively tracked.
  • Develop and strengthen MEL approaches, frameworks and tools where needed.
  • Analyse project results and learning to inform decision-making, adaptive management and future programme design.
  • Coordinate partner and consultant contributions to monitoring, reporting and learning processes.

Donor and Financial Management

  • Support day-to-day relationships with donors and respond to information requests.
  • Coordinate high-quality donor reporting, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Monitor project budgets, expenditure and forecasts, working closely with finance colleagues and partners.
  • Review financial and narrative reports and address any issues or risks that arise.

Consultant and Resource Management

  • Manage a roster of trusted technical consultants and specialists.
  • Scope, commission and oversee consultancy assignments, ensuring high-quality delivery and value for money.
  • Coordinate consultant inputs alongside partner workplans and project objectives.

Organisational Contribution

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of systems, processes and tools that support effective programme delivery.
  • Work collaboratively across teams to strengthen organisational learning, efficiency and impact.
