Project Manager

This is a remote position.

Project Description:      

Digital Health, a Shared Health service, will facilitate the improvement and enablement of healthcare delivery transformation through the use of information and communication technology.  The focus is to provide efficient, effective information management and communication technology processes across the provincial health sector.

Additional Mandatory Requirements

1. Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.  Proof of the certification shall be provided with the response.           

2. Valid PROSCI (ADKAR) Organizational Change Management certification.  Proof of the certification shall be provided with the response.  

Education

Valid PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner certification. Proof of the certification is requested with the response.

Skill and Experience:

·       10 years’ experience managing information technology projects in a healthcare environment. Experience should include reporting progress to the project steering committee and ensuring the safe implementation of software solutions in a clinical environment. The response should include at least 3 examples including title and duration of the project or work that totals at least 10 years. Examples should include specific details of work performed.

·       7 years’ experience coordinating internal delivery staff, vendor partners and customer stakeholders to successfully deliver project outcomes that support digital business transformation projects in a healthcare environment. The response should include at least 3 examples including project title and duration of the project or work that totals at least 7 years. Examples should include specific details of work performed.

·       5 years’ experience implementing or migrating an organization to Microsoft M365 and Exchange online in a large acute care or public sector environment. Experience should include coordinating implementation with clinical and business resources and management and ensuring that all staff are adequately prepared for the new solution. The response should include at least 2 examples including project title and duration of the project or work that totals at least 5 years. Examples should include specific details of work performed.

·       5 years’ experience directly testing or coordinating the testing of M365 products and services including Microsoft exchange online transition from on-premise mail services. The response should include at least 2 examples including project title and duration of the project or work that totals at least 5 years. At least one example should be in a healthcare setting. Examples should include specific details of work performed.

·       5 years’ experience utilizing a structured methodology such as Prosci to deliver organizational change management strategies and plans. The response should include at least 2 examples, including project title and duration of the project or work, totaling at least 5 years, and specifying the methodology applied. Examples should include specific details of work performed.
