The National Account Manager (NAM) is responsible for driving the growth and execution of the Honeywell Home business at Lowe's. This role leads the development and execution of customer-specific strategies focused on revenue growth, product placement, assortment optimization, promotional effectiveness, and category expansion.
The NAM serves as the primary day-to-day contact for Lowe's merchants and category teams, working cross-functionally with Marketing, Category Management, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product Management to deliver outstanding business results. The role is responsible for identifying and executing opportunities that increase market share, improve shelf presence, expand distribution, and strengthen the Honeywell Home portfolio across both in-store and digital channels. The role supports the Director of Sales in executing the overall Lowe's growth strategy.
JOB DUTIES:
Account Management & Customer Relationships
- Serve as the primary day-to-day business contact for Lowe's merchants, planners, and category managers supporting the Honeywell Home portfolio.
- Develop strong working relationships across Lowe's merchandising, replenishment, and e-commerce organizations.
- Support Joint Business Planning (JBP) activities and execution of strategic growth initiatives.
- Prepare and lead customer business reviews and category performance discussions.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver customer commitments and objectives.
Revenue Growth & Business Development
- Deliver annual revenue, profit, and growth objectives for the Honeywell Home business.
- Identify opportunities to expand distribution, increase market share, and accelerate category growth.
- Develop and execute customer growth plans supporting strategic business objectives.
- Monitor POS trends, customer analytics, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and risks.
- Support annual operating plans, forecasts, and demand planning activities.
Product Placement & Assortment Strategy
- Lead customer-specific assortment recommendations to maximize sales, productivity, and profitability.
- Drive placement and merchandising strategies that improve product visibility, shelf presence, and conversion.
- Partner with Lowe's merchants to secure distribution gains and optimize SKU productivity.
- Support planogram development and space allocation discussions.
- Analyze product performance and make recommendations for assortment additions, rationalizations, and category upgrades.
New Product Introductions
- Lead execution of new product launches and innovation initiatives within Lowe's.
- Develop customer sell-in strategies and supporting business cases for new products.
- Coordinate launch activities with Marketing, Product Management, and Supply Chain teams.
- Track launch performance and recommend corrective actions when needed.
Pricing, Promotions & Profitability
- Support pricing strategy development and promotional planning for the Honeywell Home portfolio.
- Analyze customer profitability, promotional effectiveness, and return on investment.
- Partner with Finance to identify opportunities to improve margin performance and account profitability.
- Assist in customer negotiations related to pricing, promotions, and annual planning activities.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, and Product Management to ensure flawless execution.
- Drive resolution of customer issues related to supply, service, inventory, and product availability.
- Collaborate with demand planning teams to align inventory strategies with customer demand.
- Ensure internal alignment around customer priorities and business objectives.

YOU MUST HAVE:
- 8+ years of sales, account management, category management, or customer leadership with significant experience managing national retail customers, preferably Lowe's, Home Depot, Menards, Ace, or other major retailers.
- Demonstrated success growing revenue and profitable market share.
- Experience with assortment planning, merchandising, and category management principles.
- Strong financial, analytical, and forecasting capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, customer reporting tools, and POS analysis.
