Sentara Health Plans is currently hiring for a Supervisor, Provider Operations - Credentialing - Remote!

Status: Full-time, permanent position (40 hours)

Work hours: 8am to 5pm EST, M-F

Job responsibilities:

  • The primary role of the Team Coordinator is to manage the day-to-day activities regarding provider data management and credentialing.

  • This position serves as a subject matter expert and will help support, quality assurance, internal and external auditing of the key processes, system compliance and acceptance testing, and process improvements designed to increase operational effectiveness.

  • This position will also be responsible for the documentation of new policies and procedures, the development and maintenance of training materials, and assistance with onboarding new staff.

  • This position will manage a team of up to 10 to 14 credential specialists I and II

Education:

  • HS - High School Grad or Equivalent preferred

Certification/Licensure:

  • None required

Experience:

  • Healthcare- 3 years REQUIRED

  • Health plan experience is preferred

Pay Transparency:

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is: 69,742.4- 116,251.2. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
