Senior Technical Analyst – OpenLAB CDS

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Technical Analyst to support the configuration, build, validation, release, and ongoing operation of a global enterprise Agilent OpenLAB CDS 2.x platform within a regulated pharmaceutical R&D environment.

This individual will provide technical leadership around OpenLAB CDS infrastructure and deployments, including Agilent Instrument Controller (AIC) builds, instrument connectivity, troubleshooting, validation, and coordination of deployment resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support OpenLAB CDS platform architecture and technical design.

  • Request and configure AWS cloud resources based on platform architecture and workflow requirements.

  • Coordinate daily and weekly activities of deployment resources.

  • Serve as a primary technical resource for AIC builds, deployments, and troubleshooting.

  • Support Acronis PC image builds and deployment for AIC computers.

  • Troubleshoot instrument, software, and connectivity issues.

  • Coordinate infrastructure and deployment activities with technical and laboratory stakeholders.

  • Author and execute requirements-based test scripts and SDLC documentation.

  • Support system upgrades and lifecycle activities within a regulated environment.

  • Develop IQ/OQ documentation and support UAT activities.

  • Produce technical documentation and training materials.

  • Communicate technical configuration decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience configuring and supporting Agilent OpenLAB CDS 2.x.

  • Strong experience troubleshooting chromatography instrument and software connectivity.

  • Experience supporting chromatography data systems at enterprise scale within pharmaceutical R&D.

  • Strong understanding of GxP and non-GxP laboratory environments.

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft and AWS products, services, and infrastructure.

  • Experience upgrading chromatography data systems in regulated environments.

  • Experience developing IQ/OQ test cases and supporting UAT.

  • Experience coordinating or supervising small technical teams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to travel to client laboratory locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Confluence, JIRA, Xray/Vera, and ServiceNow.

  • Experience developing and delivering technical training.
