Job description

Traild: Who are we?

Traild is a high-growth SaaS company redefining how finance teams operate, combining AI, automation, and payments infrastructure to power the future of B2B finance.

Every year, businesses lose billions to fraud, errors, and mistakes. Traild exists to solve this at scale, helping finance teams move faster, stay in control, and operate with confidence.

With rapid customer growth, global expansion across APAC, North America and EMEA, and continued investment in product innovation, we are at a defining stage of our journey.

This is an opportunity to help shape the next category leader in finance automation, control and security, building technology that transforms how businesses manage, move, and protect money. At the core of this is a powerful AI-driven platform, enabling finance teams to deploy intelligent agents that do the work, surface risk in real time, and continuously improve how financial operations run.

Traild is building the infrastructure behind modern finance, protecting and powering meaningful volumes of the world’s B2B transactions.

If you’re excited by high growth, real ownership, and building something that matters, Traild is the place to do the most impactful work of your career.

The Role: Want to be a part of our exciting growth journey?

We’re looking for a strategic, analytical and execution-focused Product Marketing Lead to join our rapidly growing global Marketing team at Traild. This is the first Product Marketing role at Traild, ideal for someone who wants to establish and build the function from the ground up.

As the owner of the Product Marketing function, you’ll shape our go-to-market strategy, develop the core foundations, and define how Traild positions its AP automation platform to customers across EMEA, APAC and the Americas.

You’ll become one of the deepest experts on our product, often knowing it better than anyone els, and you’ll translate that expertise into clear positioning, competitive intelligence, product launch strategies and sales enablement that fuels growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Positioning & Messaging

  • Build the foundational positioning and messaging framework for Traild and for each ERP and regional ecosystem.
  • Develop a full messaging hierarchy, persona definitions, value props, and narrative structure.
  • Create competitive snapshots and differentiation frameworks for each region + ERP to guide Sales and GTM teams.
  • Partner with leaders to reposition existing products and define messaging for new ERPs, integrations, and modules.

Market & Customer Intelligence

  • Lead market, customer and competitor intelligence to identify trends, opportunities and differentiators.
  • Lead customer advocacy including case studies, testimonials, reference customers, and a customer reference program.
  • Map out regional competitive landscapes for each ERP we integrate with, including indirect competitors and ecosystem-specific players.
  • Analyze competitors’ messaging, pricing, packaging, and differentiation strategies.
  • Conduct win/loss interviews, customer research, and CS-driven insights to understand product usage, value drivers, and friction points.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for Product, Sales, and Marketing leadership.

Product, Feature & New ERP Launches (GTM Rhythm)

  • Build and own our end-to-end launch playbook, including tiering, internal alignment, messaging, and activation plans.
  • Drive the GTM rhythm for every new ERP integration, major feature release, or product module, managing end-to-end product and feature launches, including GTM planning, messaging and enablement.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, Partnerships and CS to ensure cohesive execution from pre-launch validation to post-launch adoption.
  • Define launch KPIs and continuously improve our launch effectiveness.

Sales & Partner Enablement

  • Build the core enablement foundation:
  • Talk tracks and messaging briefs
  • Competitive battlecards
  • Objection-handling guides
  • Product one-pagers and pitch assets
  • “What’s new” release sessions
  • Partner with Sales leadership to refine ICP and value props by ERP ecosystem and region.
  • Enable channel/ERP partners with tailored messaging and materials that support co-selling and co-marketing motions.

Adoption, Retention & Expansion

  • Build frameworks to drive product adoption across customer segments.
  • Identify expansion opportunities through usage data, customer insights, and regional ERP dynamics.
  • Partner with CS and Product to enhance onboarding, in-product messaging, and upsell paths.

Who You Are:

You are strategic, commercially minded, highly analytical and thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments. You combine strong product instincts with excellent storytelling ability, and you’re as comfortable digging through product data as you are creating compelling narratives for customers. You’re a doer - hands-on, curious, confident, and excited by the idea of building a function from scratch.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Product Marketing within B2B SaaS (preferably mid-market or enterprise software).
  • Proven experience working closely with Product teams, contributing to roadmaps, translating user stories and understanding feature usage and customer value.
  • Demonstrated ability to create product positioning, messaging frameworks, personas and competitor analyses.
  • Strong track record of delivering successful product or feature launches end-to-end.
  • Experience building product marketing foundations in a high-growth environment, ideally within sales-led growth business model.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to turn research, market signals and product data into actionable GTM strategy.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify the complex.
  • Ability to rapidly learn technical products and understand both feature-level detail and the broader market context.
  • Comfortable operating independently in an IC role while collaborating cross-functionally across multiple time zones.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with ERP ecosystems (Acumatica, NetSuite, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
  • Previous experience in payments, AP automation or financial workflow software.
  • Exposure to global go-to-market strategies across multiple geographies.

The Perks of Working at Traild
