  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to operations teams on individual file performance, highlighting areas for immediate correction and long-term improvement.
  • Participate in regular calibration sessions with QA Leads to ensure consistency in grading standards across the team.

Job Title: Compliance QA Analyst

Department: Regulatory Compliance

Reports to: Lead, Compliance Quality Assurance

About this role 

As a Compliance QA Analyst, you are the vigilant operator responsible for the precision of our daily compliance workflows. You will perform detailed, line-by-line quality checks on KYC, AML, and fraud-related tasks to ensure every decision aligns with regulatory policies and Moniepoint’s operational standards.

Your mission is to identify discrepancies, document errors, and provide the objective data needed to maintain high accuracy across our high-volume digital banking ecosystem. You serve as the first line of quality control, ensuring that our compliance processes are flawless, fast, and audit-ready.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily, high-volume reviews of KYC/CDD files, AML alert dispositions, and transaction monitoring cases to ensure adherence to internal SOPs and regulatory requirements. 
  • Meticulously track and document errors in a centralized defect log, providing objective evidence for compliance failures or policy deviations. 
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to operations teams on individual file performance, highlighting areas for immediate correction and long-term improvement. 
  • Participate in regular calibration sessions with QA Leads to ensure consistency in grading standards across the team. 
  • Assist the Lead, Compliance QA in aggregating weekly performance metrics and supporting audit preparation by organizing clean, accurate data samples.

Experience & Background

  • 1–3 years of experience in Compliance, Internal Control, KYC/AML Operations, or Audit within a FinTech or commercial banking environment. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (for data tracking) and experience with Compliance AML tools or fraud management platforms. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail for conducting precision line-by-line file quality checks. 
  • Clear communication skills for delivering objective, constructive performance feedback.
