This is a remote position.

Our pharmaceutical client is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a large-scale SAP Data & Analytics transformation initiative.

The primary focus of this role is to understand how SAP data is consumed across more than 20 business applications, assess the impact of upcoming changes, define remediation activities, and coordinate collaboration between business stakeholders, application owners, and technical teams.

This is not a technical SAP data modelling role. While a good understanding of SAP and enterprise application landscapes is important, deep SAP ERP table knowledge is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze how SAP data is consumed across 20+ enterprise applications.
  
• Identify application dependencies, interfaces, and downstream impacts of SAP data changes.
  
• Perform impact assessments and document current and future-state data consumption.
  
• Define and coordinate remediation plans for affected applications.
  
• Gather and document business and functional requirements.
  
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders, SMEs, Product Owners, and technical teams.
  
• Coordinate discussions between application teams to ensure successful implementation of data changes.
  
• Track risks, dependencies, issues, and remediation progress.
  
• Support prioritization of remediation activities across multiple workstreams.
  
• Produce high-quality business analysis documentation, process flows, and impact assessments.
  
• Work closely with SAP BI, Data Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams throughout project delivery.
  

Requirements

Business Analysis

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on enterprise IT or SAP transformation projects.
  
• Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
  
• Proven ability to perform application impact assessments.
  
• Experience facilitating workshops and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
  
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  

SAP & Enterprise Applications

• General understanding of SAP ERP (ECC and/or S/4HANA).
  
• Knowledge of enterprise application landscapes and system integrations.
  
• Experience working with SAP-related business processes and data consumption.
  
• Understanding of application dependencies and integration patterns.
  

Stakeholder Management

• Experience coordinating business users, SMEs, Product Owners, Architects, and technical teams.
  
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across large transformation initiatives.
  
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with enterprise data platforms or analytics solutions.
  
• Understanding of data governance or master data management.
  
• Experience with SAP BI, SAP Datasphere, or enterprise reporting environments.
  
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
  
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum or SAFe).
  
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
