Job Description:

Join Job Duck as a Criminal Defense Intake and Scheduling Coordinator and become the first point of contact for prospective clients, playing a key role in shaping their initial experience. In this role, you will engage with inbound leads, guide them through the intake process, and help determine the best next steps based on their needs. Your ability to communicate clearly and confidently while building trust will directly impact client conversion and satisfaction. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, naturally persuasive, and enjoys balancing empathy with professionalism. • Monthly Compensation Range: From 1,142 to 1,220 USD

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Send agreements and support clients through the onboarding process
  • Schedule paid consultations for qualified prospects
  • Provide fee quotes using a predefined framework
  • Reinforce company communication protocols and boundaries professionally
  • Collaborate with internal teams via Slack to update lead status
  • Follow up with leads to maintain engagement and drive conversions
  • Ask qualifying questions to assess and screen leads effectively
  • Handle inbound calls from potential clients and conduct initial intake
  • Maintain accurate records of leads using tracking tools

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience working as an Intake Specialist or in sales/customer service roles

• Experience handling inbound calls and client intake processes 
• Proven ability to qualify leads and guide prospects through decision-making

Strong verbal communication and phone presence with clear English pronunciation and Spanish fluency
• Ability to build rapport and confidently guide conversations toward conversion 
• High attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes accurately 
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously 
High ownership mindset with strong initiative, proactive problem-solving, and a demonstrated ability to consistently follow up and follow through on tasks with accuracy and accountability
• Professional demeanor with a client-focused mindset 
• Interpersonal skills that balance empathy with assertiveness when setting boundaries 
Ability to communicate value in a natural and persuasive way

• Location and timezone: Remote, Pacific Standard Time (PST)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday
• Expected call volume: Light (5-10 calls per day)
• Software and Tools Required:
- VOIP: Quo
- Other: Slack, Google Sheets, Gmail, and Google Calendar

Work Shift:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM [PST][PDT] (United States of America)
