Job Description:

At Job Duck, we are looking for a compassionate, professional, and highly organized Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for prospective and existing clients of a growing elder law and estate planning practice. In this role, you will play a critical part in creating a positive client experience by handling inbound calls, scheduling consultations, coordinating client appointments, and supporting important legal processes. The ideal candidate is personable, patient, and service-oriented, with the ability to build trust and rapport, particularly with older adults and their families. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to recognize client needs while helping guide potential clients through the intake process. •Compensation Range: 1150 USD to 1220 USD

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver an exceptional client experience through professional and compassionate communication
  • Manage and update the firm's calendar through MyCase
  • Schedule consultation meetings for attorneys
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and appointments

  • Follow up with prospective clients to schedule consultations
  • Identify potential clients based on intake conversations and legal needs
  • Conduct follow up calls regarding signings and closings
  • Take accurate and detailed messages
  • Answer inbound phone calls from prospective and existing clients
  • Transfer calls to the appropriate team members
  • Share information, resources, and relevant links with prospects and clients
  • Contact existing clients to schedule signings• Schedule closing appointments

Requirements:

•Practice Area: Elder Law and Estate Planning

• Required Software/Tools: MyCase, VOIPX, Google Workspace

•2-3 years of experience with Legal intake

•Familiarity with estate planning and elder law terminology including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Asset Protection, Probate, Medicaid, Long Term Care, and Health Care Proxies, is preferred.

•Appointment scheduling experience

•Client relationship management experience

•Sales or consultation conversion experience

•Ability to handle confidential information professionally

•Comfort communicating with older adults and their families
